Twitch es la plataforma líder en transmisiones de videojuegos en el mundo, aunque desde hace algunos años decidieron ampliar su oferta y crear maratones de diferentes programas de televisión. Recordemos el canal especial que recibió el pintor Bob Ross en 2016 o la Lucha Libre AAA que desde 2017 transmite diferentes funciones clásicas, además de los eventos especiales en vivo.
Ahora la alianza será con The Pokémon Company International, anunciando un maratón de Pokémon: The Series. Estarán retransmitiendo las 19 temporadas con un total de 932 episodios y las 16 películas animadas.
El maratón comenzará el 27 de agosto y seguirá hasta 2019. Lo interesante es que el evento se podrá disfrutar en Estados Unidos, Canadá, Europa, América Latina y Australia, todo el contenido estará disponible en el canal TwitchPresents y vendrán con doblaje en francés, alemán, español, italiano y portugués.
Otro elemento del evento será la interacción que tendrán los fanáticos por medio del chat del evento. También existirán las extensions exclusivas, sobreposiciones que acompañan a las retransmisiones y buscan motivar a los usuarios a recolectar los botones de Pokémon que aparecerán en la pantalla.

- Pokémon: Black & White Adventures in Unova and Beyond
- Pokémon the Series: XY
- Pokémon the Series: XY Kalos Quest
